A Heartfelt Goodbye from Rosie & Co.This isn’t an easy post to write, but after much thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to close Rosie & Co. on March 1st.Running this little business has been such a joy—connecting with so many of you who care about the planet and supporting small businesses has meant the world to me. But as much as I love what I do, my commitments at home, especially as a mum, need more of my focus right now. Life is full, and I’ve had to make the choice that feels right for my family at this time.To everyone who has supported Rosie & Co.—whether you’ve placed an order, shared kind words, or simply cheered me on—thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve helped build something special, and I’m so grateful.I’ll be keeping the shop open until March 1st, so if there’s anything you’d like to stock up on before we close, now’s the time.This isn’t goodbye forever—just a change in chapter. Hi Everyone!

I’m so sorry I’ve been quiet lately. I seem to have gone into full mum hibernation mode!

My little boy Noah is finally starting to stabilise after more than a month diabetic drama! He’s now a proud “Podder” thanks to the outstanding care from East Kent WH Hospital Children’s Diabetic Team.

I’m hoping everything will a little easier after the Christmas Break and I will be back bringing Eco Cleaning tips and tricks and of course the most wonderful artisan Cleaning Products!

But for now I’m just battening down the hatches and being the best Mummy I can be for these kids.

Did you know that Christmas generates huge amounts of non-recyclable waste in the UK?

Each year, we use 227,000 miles of wrapping paper, much of which is coated in plastic or glitter, making it unrecyclable.

We also throw away an estimated 125,000 tonnes of plastic packaging, and around 1 billion Christmas cards end up in the bin, especially those with glitter or foil.

Most Christmas crackers contain single-use plastic toys that go straight to landfill after one use.

Food waste is another big issue, with 2 million turkeys, 74 million mince pies, and 17.2 million Brussel sprouts being discarded—often in non-recyclable packaging.

And let’s not forget the 21 million unwanted gifts that are left unused or thrown away, adding to the problem.

But it doesn’t have to be this way!

Reduce waste this Christmas by switching to recyclable or reusable wrapping paper (like kraft paper or fabric wraps), and send cards made from recyclable materials.

Choose plastic-free crackers or make your own with sustainable fillers.

Be mindful of food waste by planning meals carefully and using up leftovers creatively.

Finally, opt for thoughtful, useful gifts, or consider gifting experiences instead of material items.
