Been a while but finally got back to drawing. Fancied trying chalk for something different. Really enjoyed this medium, so nice blending it…..my fingers were in a right mess😂

Finally using my new canvas paper pad. Trying something a little different. I really need to make time for myself to paint more often. Absolutely love sitting letting my creativity flow. Makes my heart smile.

Aurora Borealis you are a wee cracker😍

And…..we did have a spontaneous trip (in our jammies) to the beach😂

Hey! It’s been far toooo looong since I have picked up a paint brush! I won’t bore you all with the details, but I just haven’t been well enough to even paint. But I have managed to get back in front of my easel and have shared my latest creation in a Timelapse…. Hope you enjoyed watching the process of creating “A Braw Wee Bunch”(posted vid earlier)

⭐️⭐️New Art ⭐️⭐️

Excited to share this one, it took a while to finish(well for me to feel happy to stop lol)

“Sea Breeze”
(acrylic & fineliner on canvas)

I love the beach/sea and I love flowers and nature…..so thought I would combine the two💕
There is just something so soothing and calming about being by the sea. Feeling the breeze on your face. I hope I have captured some of this in my painting.

⭐️Happy September ⭐️

What a beautiful day to start a new month.
Started my day with a visit to my favourite place with my hairy bairn. There is just something about the beach that soothes the soul🥰
Came home feeling inspired to paint….hopefully will get time this weekend to start a new painting 👩🏻‍🎨
Sharing pics of my handsome pooch, the image of pure joy as he sprints for a swim🌊
Also loving the Scottie dog we came across, so colourful!

Second new painting I’m delighted to share with you.
This one is watercolour, acrylic and fineliner.
“Bee Happy” was inspired by watching all the busy bees bumbling around the wild flowers over the summer. They just seem so happy buzzing around the lovely blooms. I also wanted to experiment with something a little different.
I will post when this is available as a print for sale.
