Big thank you to Hellingly WI for their poppy donations for our Poppy Project!! We shall have to get pinning!!

Our installation will be open to viewing from the 2nd November until the 30th November (closed Sundays) 9am - 4.30pm. We will be taking donations for the Royal British Legion during that time, and also selling the poppies for further donations throughout December.

There’s a lot of restraint that goes into ordering from 😂
This was our latest order, topping up on the furnishing style braids, metallic velvet ribbons, sneaking in some new things and restocking the lobster clips after they all sold to one person to make a parties-worth of furry tails!

We have one sign up for Thursday’s Seashell Stitchscape workshop with Beth Power | Embroidery Artist - would anyone else like to come along?

If you are interested in creating 3D textures with free-style embroidery that has no right or wrong, playing with fabrics and colour and “stuff”, this could be the workshop for you!!

Pinning has begun!!

We have started pinning poppies into our cascade fabric and hoping that it’s all going to start pulling together. Thank you so much to everyone who has made and donated poppies so far! We’ve still got several metres to go….. 😅

Our second advent panel sample is finished and up on display! This is the beautiful Nutcracker panel from Makower UK , backed in their Dimples blender in Christmas Red.

The number squares for this one are individually made and stitched on, so it’s a little bit of a longer project in comparison to the Adorn panel we have which is a sneaky fold and stitch option.
