BLACKBIRDS NEST!

I often get asked why I called my art business Blackbird House ! Well … we have always rented our home and have lived in many very special rented houses from the north coast of Scotland to the south coast of England and many in between! Each one a different and equally special chapter which has allowed us so much freedom and experiences

When I started Blackbird House I wanted to create a permanent home for my creativity! And blackbirds have made their nests in the hedges and honeysuckles of all our homes - they are and always have been my favourite bird - must be that beautiful silhouette and their friendly and enquiring beady eyes

Blackbird House Designs still is that solid foundation where I have the freedom to create and share my work
From where ever I am and for that I am so grateful

A new print hot off the press! So happy with this and as always absolutely delighted with - quality of the ink and paper is exceptional.

This is an artists proof - I will be doing a run of 30 prints. 30x30cm signed and numbered. There is a framing option available too - I will frame this one soon so you can see the finished product. Let me know if you would like to pre order and I will keep in aside for you
