We’re looking for reliable, experienced flooring installers to join the Welch Flooring team.

We want fitters who take pride in their work, have great attention to detail, and always work to a high standard.

In return, you’ll receive:

All we ask in return is reliability, professionalism.

Ideally, you’ll be Midlands-based as we have a retail unit where materials can be collected when needed, and all of our domestic work is local. However most of our projects are commercial.

We also work nationwide, so you must be willing to work away when required.

Requirements:

• Experience fitting vinyl
• LVT
• Cap and cove
• Carpet tiles
• Valid CSCS card
• Own van and tools

Today we’re incredibly proud to be starting work on a very special local project - the refurbishment of Stowe Pool Boathouse.

It’s an honour to have been asked to be part of the refurb of such an iconic piece of Lichfield history!

Built in 1890, the Victorian boathouse was originally used to store boats and equipment for maintaining Stowe Pool as a drinking water reservoir, and it remains one of Lichfields historic landmarks today.

Once the refurbishment is complete, the council will be exploring opportunities to bring the boathouse back into active use - and we’d love to hear what you think it could become!

🍦Ice cream hut for the summer months?
🖼️ Art exhibition for local school and colleges?

We’re excited to announce that we’re going to be re-opening for walk-in customers! 🏡✨

We’ll still be working on limited opening hours for now, but from tomorrow you can pop in and see us:

As we head into our busiest time of the year with our commercial projects, we’ve introduced an appointment system for our domestic customers to ensure everyone receives the best possible service.

Our retail unit won’t always be open for walk-in visits over the coming weeks, so booking an appointment means you’ll have dedicated time to explore our flooring ranges, discuss your project, and enjoy a more personal experience.

While our online booking system is being set up, simply give us a call or send us an email with your preferred date, and we’ll arrange a convenient time for you.

Whether you’re looking to browse our flooring collections, borrow samples to try at home, or simply need some expert advice, we’re here to help.

Our retail unit will return to normal daily opening hours from September.

We’re still very much here for all your home flooring projects—we’re just asking that you book an appointment for now.
