A bit whimsy this Christmas at Poppies ✨🤍

Something a little different from my usual rustic Christmas creations.

A beautiful white swan nestled amongst winter greenery, frosted pinecones, shimmering gold foliage and delicate vintage-style baubles.

Finished with a rather quirky black and white ribbon and a wonderful tumble of golden textures.

A little bit magical, a little bit extravagant and wonderfully whimsical.

Not your traditional Christmas wreath, but then again, I do love creating something a little unexpected!

A touch of fairytale magic for your front door. 🤍✨

❤️🙏 Thankful Friday 🙏❤️

The nights are drawing in, there's a definite chill in the air, and I'm finding myself appreciating those cosy evenings at home more than ever.

The warmth of the log burner, a lovely cuppa, cosy pug hugs and a little time to sit and be still. Sometimes it's the simplest things that bring the most joy. ❤️

There's a very busy few weeks ahead at Poppies, with lots of planning, preparing and creating going on behind the scenes.

My head is full of ideas, my lists are getting longer by the day, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

But amongst all the busyness, I'm reminded how thankful I am to be doing something I love and sharing it with others.

I'm so looking forward to welcoming you all to Poppies workshops. A chance to slow down, enjoy a little creativity, meet lovely people and hopefully leave with a joyful Christmas feeling.

So this Friday, I'm thankful for the warmth of home, the joy of creating, the opportunities ahead and everyone who continues to support my little business.

There's something about a traditional country Christmas that I just love.

The beauty of the countryside, woodland colours, natural textures and a little rustic charm.

This wreath has all of that, with its gorgeous stag nestled amongst the greenery, pinecones, seed pods, berries and rich rustic tones.

Finished with a beautiful olive velvet ribbon, it's a little bit of the countryside brought to grace your front door.

Nothing too perfect or overly fancy, just a wonderfully natural, slightly wild wreath full of country character.

I thought it would be rather lovely to open the doors at Poppies for a relaxed little Christmas afternoon.

Nothing formal, just a chance to pop in, enjoy a cuppa, a biscuit or two, have a friendly chat and browse a few lovely things I've brought along.
