Trust the process! 🎨
Thought it would be interesting to see how a painting goes through all the processes to get the end result.
Alot of work went into this portrait, alot of time and attention to detail.
The wife was anxious the checks on the waistcoat were done, that the face needed to look like the photo.....
He's finally finished and ready for his big reveal at his 60th birthday in a few weeks.

What an opportunity!
I've been approached by the stunning Lichfield Golf and Country Club to do a Sip & Paint there.
It's open to NON MEMBERS too, so what better chance to enjoy an evening in beautiful surroundings whilst indulging in prosecco and cake whilst painting my famous hydrangea image 🍾🧁🪻
It's so easy, ideal for beginners, reluctant artists, non painters and anyone who fancies a fun relaxing evening socialising with friends or new faces.
Come along, get something a little bit different in the diary for 2027 🎨https://www.theclubcompany.com/lichfield/event/sip-paint

The candles were lit, the ambience set, all ready for our pumpkin "Sip and Paint " tonight 🎃
Some great paintings done by some experienced sip and paint fans!
Some had been with me quite a few times before and some had been to quite a few, but with other companies.

But I'm the only company to pass round heated steam towels at the end to wipe your hands before you go home! 👊
Super session, brilliant end results.
I've heard one is already going up in the "bathroom gallery" 🎨🤣

Autumnal coastal vibes yesterday at the care home 🍂
We used a kitchen scouring pad to pat the paint into the sky to give it a texture.
A mix of deep blue and turquoise blue using horizontal brush strokes for the sea.
But the best bit was adding the orange and yellow leaves to to trees, with a mixture of small brushes strokes and scrunched up balls of tin foil.
A lovely, relaxing afternoon spent chatting, concentrating and laughing finished off at the end with cups of tea, French fancies and a Nat King Cole song 🎵
Well done residents 👏
