When your daughter says to you “every time I go out to your shed your are just sitting on your backside”. 🤔

Well this is what 50hrs “sitting on your backside” can achieve 💪

Based on a Case 8240 combine
Made from oak and Walnut

(Sense of scale - the header is 550mm wide)

When you have been sent to the shed there is no point sitting doing nothing.

Almost 50hrs has went in to making this model of a John Deere 9000 forage harvester

Sometimes someone shows you an act of kindness that simply blows you away and will never ever be forgot.
This tractor and trailer was made as a token of our appreciation for the kindness shown.

Tractor is based on a John Deere 8400
Wood used: Walnut, Beech and Oak
Time taken: Loved every minute

This post is written with a tinge of sadness. 😢

Every minute spent in creating this clock was spent with joy yet at times with tears in my eyes.

I bought the wood for this project in May 2022. I never told anyone what the wood was for. Even my good friend and fellow woodturner was told it was for a special project. A special project for a special man.

My dad had a lot of interests in his life, two of which were wood and clocks so I decided I would combine the two and create a piece for him. It was going to be his Christmas present (2022) but when I got round to starting it I knew I wouldn’t be able to spend the time on it that it would deserve. His birthday was in January so decided I would get it done for his birthday - again I didn’t get it started in time. I thought Fathers day is in June surely I will have it done for him by then. Well I have the clock created but sadly dad is no longer with us to give it to him.

How true the saying Don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today.

This clock is made from sycamore and is about 15 inches high.

What a labour of love. Enjoyed every hour in the creation of this Volvo FH16 540 truck. Some challenges were threw in along the way but we overcame them and overall I'm pleased with the result. This model is 21.5 inches long, 8 inches wide and 12 inches high.

Was asked to create this plaque to celebrate 5 years in business of Irish Black Butter.

I first met Alastair a number of years ago as I listen to his dulced tones reciting about the cry of the seagulls over Craigahulliar.🤣🤣 A legend then – a legend now. Alastair has put his heart and soul into Irish Black Butter. I never met someone who believes in his product like he does. This spread is delicious. In fact you don’t need anything to spread it on – it's that good you can just spoon it straight from the jar. It no wonder it has received multi awards.

Congratulations Alastair. Congratulations Irish Black Butter. Hope you have many more successful years in business.🤩🥳

Boys but I've enjoyed making this model Lamborghini Aventador. Made from Walnut, Oak and Mahogany. No matter how many times I've clicked my fingers it won't change into the real thing 🤣
