Merry Christmas Eve Eve 🎄✨

How are we even here already?! This year has been a complete blur- I still feel like it’s September 😅 But a 6am M&S Christmas food shop this morning is definitely telling me otherwise.

I love the magic of this time of year, when all the rules go out the window. Baileys at 9am? Go for it. Chocolate for breakfast? Absolutely. ’Tis the season after all 🥂

We’re hosting this year, and I’m so excited to have the family over. It’s going to be a busy few days, but I honestly love the chaos of it all. Whatever you’re up to, I hope you have the loveliest festive period 🎅🏻✨

A ‘Ralph Lauren Christmas’ By The Arnold’s 🎄❤️🧸

Mr. A has always loved a traditional Christmas theme. We’ve embraced it in our home for the past five years, so seeing that “traditional” is trending this season felt like confirmation that, for us, it never really went out of style. But it did give me the perfect excuse to pick up a few new accessories to make the space feel even cosier and more festive! 🎄

💒🥂 O N E • Y E A R 🥂💒

One year today since we said “I do”! I can’t believe how quickly it has gone!!

To celebrate Mr A is surprising me for the day. Going off the theme of ‘paper’ with tickets! 🎟️ The first one being a golden ticket telling me we are going to London for the day! How exciting!! 🤩 Follow along on stories if you want to be nosey and see what we get up too! 😍

R I G A 🇱🇻

What a wonderful 42 hours in Latvia! Such a gorgeous country with incredible food, drinks and culture. I would highly recommend going! 😍 I had the best time with the work girls exploring a new place. So many laughs had and memories made. 🤍

Now to try and catch up on sleep before I’m back to work this afternoon, after getting in at 3:30am! 😴

S P A • D A Y 🫧🥂

Well yesterday was wonderful! 😍 I was kindly invited by to experience their ‘Relax Spa’ and all I can say is WOW! 🤩 I have never been or seen a place so unique, and to have it right on my doorstep too.. let’s just say that that could be a problem! 🫣

The boutique spa is situated in the most gorgeous house in North Scarle, surrounded by woodland, fields and nature. 🍃 Within our package, we had 2 hours of exclusive use of their Old Coach House, which was a 2 storey building that had everything you need to relax and unwind including an armchair, dining table, floor bed and yoga mat also there was a hot refreshments station to keep you hydrated! 🫖 Through the sliding doors was a private garden area with an outdoor table and chairs, loungers and a huge hot tub. To the front of the coach house was a beautiful courtyard with an outdoor sauna, which was so serene especially because we could hear the rain on the roof. 🌧️

After our 2 hours of sipping Prosecco in the hot tub, we were taken back into the main house for a 50 minute treatment, which comprised of 2 x 25 minute treatments. Both myself and my friend went for an Indian head massage and facial which we upgraded to a facial and we both walked out floating! 🫧 Then to finish off our time, we had the most beautiful afternoon tea. 🍰

The 4 hours went by far too quickly for my liking but I would say the best thing about The Old Rectory is how exclusive it feels, we did occasionally see the odd person coming in or out of treatments but it mainly felt like we had the whole place to ourselves so you can really switch off and relax. All of the staff were so friendly, warm and welcoming and honestly couldn’t do enough for you. I would definitely recommend given them a visit if you’re in the area!
