To us, they might just look like a teddy bear. But to a child, they’re so much more.

They’re the friend who sat beside them through every poorly day, every first day at school, every family holiday, every bedtime story and every big feeling they didn’t quite have the words for.

As children grow, their teddies might no longer come everywhere with them. They often end up sitting quietly on a shelf or tucked safely away. But that doesn’t make them any less special.

Every worn ear, faded patch and wonky smile tells the story of a childhood that deserves to be remembered.

That’s why I draw them. So that even when childhood has been outgrown, the memories never are. And maybe… some teddies deserve a place on the wall just as much as they once deserved a place in little arms. 🤍

But they’ll never forget how that little friend made them feel.

The cuddles. The comfort. The adventures. The security.

Childhood passes so quickly, but those memories don’t have to.

That’s why I turn much-loved teddies into hand-drawn portraits… so the friend who meant everything always has a place to be seen 🤍

To them, it’s the friend that comforted them through poorly days, bedtime cuddles, big adventures and little worries.

Those are the memories worth holding onto.

That’s why I turn beloved childhood teddies into hand-drawn keepsake portraits… so the little best friends who meant everything always have a place on the wall, long after they’ve been gently retired to the shelf. 🤍

No matter how old we get, there will always be something about seeing a childhood comforter that takes us straight back 🥹♥️

The faded colour…The wonky stitching. The missing bits from years of being loved. They might not look perfect anymore, but to the person who held them through every adventure, every bedtime and every tough day… they’ll always be perfect.

Watching this reaction to a portrait of a much-loved Mr. Blobby has completely warmed my little 90s heart. 🥹

Because sometimes, the most treasured gifts aren’t the newest ones… they’re the ones that remind us of who we used to be… when we were young 🫶
