Wool is the Answer Hand dyed yarn, patterns and inspiration You may ask why we have called our new venture Wool is the answer?

For us the answer is simple, as crafters of many things, there is no question to which wool is not the answer!

We are a new business based in Lincolnshire set up to sell good quality local sourced wool. We are gradually building up our own hand dyed range of yarn in 4 ply, all of which is hand dyed by us in Lincolnshire. We intend to add to our collection regularly and produce coordinating yarns

for use in various knitting projects.

We have carefully selected our first supplier, West Yorkshire Spinners, as we fell in love with their colour range and quality, and of course they are "reared, sheared and spun" in Great Britain.

At the moment we are starting off small with limited lines but hope to grow quickly with the help of you, our customers. Our aim is to source local good quality yarn to share with you all.

Our passion is for vibrant colours so we will try and incorporate this in our choice of products and suppliers as well as our dyeing palette.

This week’s episode is a good old SHOW AND TELL!

We’re chatting all about our new Kaleidoscope Yarn Club which was launched last month and showing you what we’re making with our first colours.

Marie is using hers for the Bounce Blanket by Alexa and Emily while Dominique has cast on a gorgeous cowl.
Marie has finished her Jethro Cardigan by Tanis Lavallee and is very nearly at the end of her Syltrose Breeze by Dagmar.knits&more and the cast off imminent!

Dominique has finally made it to the sleeves of her Ship Shape Sweater by Heidi Kirrmaier | Knitting Patterns despite feeling like she’s been knitting on it FOREVER! 😂

So grab your knitting, crochet or whatever woolly project you’re working on and come join us for some woolly chatter and a catch-up!

I’ve finally cast off the Jethro Cardigan which is constructed with crochet and knitting. Pattern by Tanis Lavallee I used our DK base in Grey, Denim, Emerald, Pale Magenta and Undyed. Now do I cast something new on or continue with an unfinished project?
