A busy week at Petal & Stalk.

We’ve enjoyed lots of new plants, bought in new colour to the shop, delivered one wedding and struggled to keep up with the number of orders coming through the door.

As well as this, we’ve had the pleasure of hiring our special Flower School workshop to the lovely Helen for her pop-up shop. And to top it off, customers who attended the ceramics workshops ran by have been popping in to collect their creations.

It’s felt like a real creative hub this week, such a buzz for the start of June ✨

It was a couple of weeks ago now but this photo deserves a place on the grid.

When I bought Petal & Stalk three years ago, the first window display we did was an urn abundantly full of lilac. This year’s lilac window was just as special as it was Holly’s first attempt at an urn arrangement and her first window display.

It’s not often I bring flowers home but when I saw these beauties last week, I needed them on my kitchen island.

Watching the peonies slowly open from tight pink balls, into vibrant fluffy blooms and now transitioning into the pale blush pinks as they fully open. They have been a total joy in our kitchen this week, and the children have enjoyed watching the wonder of nature.

Peonies, you can be a tricky number but when you’re good, you’re amazing!
