Remembrance Poppy Brooches - Our handmade brooches are made from glitter felt and are a beautiful addition to any outfit during the Remembrance period.
We have a selection of ready-to-wear handcrafted glitter brooches as well as Make it Yourself glitter brooch kits - ideal for the craft-minded or as gifts.

The poppy is a symbol of Remembrance adopted after WWI and in 1915 influenced John McCrae to write the poem 'In Flanders Fields'. We have red and white poppies available. A donation from the sale of each poppy will go to The Royal British Legion.

Small brooches and kits (4cm) are £3, Large brooches and kits (7cm) are £3.50 plus postage of £1.30 (postage prices for multiple orders can be calculated.)

It's all systems go at Metheringham Wartime Weekend. We're in the craft marquee :)

Wow. It's been a little while in between posts. I hope everyone had a lovely Easter. I've been busy crafting. Getting ready for a stall at the Wartime Weekend on Metheringham Airfield on 1st May (including sorting out a "costume"), and hopefully at The Queen's Tea Party on 12th June in Lincoln.
I have finished off a project I had been working on for too long (we all have those right?) - a pair of crochet cushion covers in the colours of my front room. Now I'm onto crocheting a lampshade sans pattern - we'll see how it goes ;)
This Sunday I will be chief bunting hanger at our village Birthday Tea Party for the Queen. Exciting times and the sun is shining :)
