It-s great to know what to do when something comes up, whether it’s a tummy bug, a cold, or that never-ending cough!
🍇 Grapes are my first go-to when someone around me starts vomiting. They work as prevention rather than a treatment, so even if it’s late at night and we’ve run out of grapes, I’ll go to the shop to get some!
💨 Nebuliser – I spent quite a bit of time researching which brand to choose because I wanted something that could help deliver inhalation treatment to different parts of the respiratory system.
The PARI BOY was the nebuliser I found with great options for targeted inhalation.
It comes with different coloured chambers:
🔵 Blue chamber – designed for larger particles, targeting the upper respiratory tract. Including when you buy nebuliser.
🔴 Red chamber – designed for the middle airways.
🟡 Yellow chamber – designed for smaller particles that can reach the deeper airways.
The red and yellow chambers are included in the Junior year pack, which you have to buy separately.
For inhalation, I use sterile 0.9% saline solution (NaCl), which I buy separately in small, single-use vials. I’ve also looked into 3% saline, which may help loosen thick mucus.
If you’d like me to make a separate video explaining the nebuliser, the different chambers, and how I use it, let me know in the comments! 💙
🌿 ColdZyme – a throat spray that I think is worth trying at the first signs of a cold. It’s designed to help reduce the risk of developing a cold when used early. Or shorten it.
Hope it helps
