We’ve not been looking ourselves lately following the breaking of one of our windows back in December but today the new piece of glass that we commissioned was fitted back in place. An incredible piece of art in its own right it now sits beautifully and indistinguishably next to the rest of the stained glass in our beautiful bar.
Thanks to the teams at Gilbert Ash and CWS design for all their hard work to make our bar look great again 🍻

Artwork for a new stained glass memorial window for St Mark's Parish Church Newtownards to be dedicated tomorrow Friday 19th January. This design was completed in July 22 and is a 1:10 scale ink and watercolour sketch. The window was fabricated by the talented team of craftsmen at CWS Design Stained Glass Studios in Lisburn. I was on site to witness the final installation on Monday and can't wait to share images of the finished work after the dedication tomorrow.
