After a lot of reluctance and indecision. I have decided to sell my glass kiln.😪 It's been a hard decision but I need to choose between glass or pottery. My studio isn't big enough for both and I need the money to upgrade my wheel or put towards a newer pottery kiln, as mine is pretty ancient. So it's on ebay. 😱 If you know anyone looking for a kiln send them my way. I will share the link, and answer any questions if anyone wants more information

I had a bit of a disaster in the kiln this week. Discovering I had the wrong top glaze. But I was very pleased with this little textured vase.

I took a few days off to travel up to London with Steve to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. We went to the sky Gardens, saw Jesus Christ super star, the Frida Khalo exhibition and visited the science museum, where we were a bit taken aback to see technology from our past. in a museum! It was very hot but brilliant

I'm so lucky to now have my pottery in this fabulous gallery in Mevagissey, Bowji Cornwall 2024 has so many amazing ceramic artists in one place. Also a fabulous variety of cornish craft work. Well worth a visit and you can check out the fabulous work of 2 previous The Great Pottery Throw Down contestants. The lovely Sally Tully and Fynn Allen who was a winner in 2026.

Just before we went away we had a new delivery of beautiful hand thrown and decorated stoneware bowls and vases from Janice at Wellydog Ceramics. Hand painted with coastal cottages they are very affordable too for something handmade with love, care and skill. Starting from £18 up to £40 depending on size.

We're open Monday to Saturday 11am to 5pm.
Find us up the hill from the harbour, opposite the old Charlestown chapel in the courtyard, hidden behind the cottage gardens.

How many of you lovely followers remember this.? My first proper studio at Clevedon craft centre. A lot has happened since. I moved into Larger studio, then to a cornish visitor centre. A shop in Hayle then a shop in Polperro. I do miss it, but I also love the extra time I get to spend with my family. And I can still sell my work in other people's galleries and shops.
