I am sad to say that wellydog is no more. We have requested to be removed from the companies house register, and that will be formalised in the next week or two. I will then be a sole trader. The glass kiln has gone to a lovely lady who is so excited about experimenting with it. Most of my supplies have now been sold on ebay, I do have a few more bits to go through but I now have quite a lot of empty cupboards. I am, sad but also very excited. I have a new pottery wheel from Kiln Crafts arriving in the next few weeks and my little cottage bowls, pots and vases have been a real hit in the galleries, of late. All things move on but I have really been reluctant to give up the wellydog name. Part of that is because I don't have a name I like for my ceramics. I've been back ward and forward thinking about it, and constantly running back to wellydog. But it's been confusing having two pages. With these new milestones it seem like the right time to formally move on. So from now on, all my future posts on Instagram and Facebook will be at Janice I really dislike the name, but If I finally find a name I do like. It will change on that page not this one. If you haven't moved over already I would love you to join me over there. The website for now will stay as www.wellydog.co.uk but will read as Janice Ashworth ceramics. It will stay like that until I either get used to the name or find a nicer one to buy the domain name for. I'm open to any suggestions of a name. Lots of love Janice

I had a bit of a disaster in the kiln this week. Discovering I had the wrong top glaze. But I was very pleased with this little textured vase.

I took a few days off to travel up to London with Steve to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. We went to the sky Gardens, saw Jesus Christ super star, the Frida Khalo exhibition and visited the science museum, where we were a bit taken aback to see technology from our past. in a museum! It was very hot but brilliant
