A little before and after from an Airbnb apartment I completed a while ago ✨

The owner wanted to keep a couple of the larger pieces, including the sofa and side cabinet, so I worked around them to create a space that feels cosy, homely and welcoming, while still feeling modern for a city-centre apartment 🏙️

Layered lighting helped make a real difference. We added backlighting above the artwork, alongside the floor lamp, to give the room a warmer feel 🛋️💡

The bedroom was a full redo too, with a completely new look to make it feel calm, comfortable and welcoming for guests 🛏️✨

What do you think of the transformation? 🤍

A communal space can set the tone for the whole building 🤍

For this project, I wanted to bring out the character of the building while making the landings and hallways feel warm, considered and welcoming. The architectural details do so much of the work, so I kept the palette calm and added statement artwork, mirrors, flowers and carefully chosen finishing touches.

It’s all in the balance: respecting the space, while giving people somewhere that feels special as soon as they arrive ✨

The communal kitchen from one of my latest projects 🤎✨

I wanted this space to feel like more than just a communal kitchen somewhere warm, stylish and inviting that people would actually enjoy spending time in.

I kept the colours neutral, adding statement artwork, oversized accessories, and those all important finishing touches to give the room personality.

Communal spaces definitely don’t have to feel boring!! ✨

Part 2 of my Airbnb presentation 🏡

I’m sharing a few more of the things I’ve learnt from working on Airbnb and serviced accommodation projects… from styling and photography to those all-important finishing touches that can completely change how a property looks and feels.

For me, it’s always about the details. Creating spaces that not only photograph beautifully, but feel welcoming, work for real guests and ultimately help your property stand out.

I’ve really enjoyed putting this presentation together and sharing some of what I’ve learnt along the way.

And if you’re starting an Airbnb yourself, or you already have one that needs a bit of help, drop me a message I’d love to have a chat 😊

Working with various Airbnb management companies and completing a number of serviced accommodation projects has given me so much hands-on experience in what really works when designing these spaces 🏡✨

Recently, I had the opportunity to deliver a presentation through Airbnb itself, talking it through over a Zoom call and sharing some of what I’ve learnt from working on real Airbnb and serviced accommodation projects 💻

From where to spend your budget and creating those important focal points, through to styling, photography and the finishing touches that make a property memorable 📸🛋️

There was a lot to cover, so I’ll be splitting the presentation over two posts — this is Part 1, with Part 2 to follow ➡️

Every project has taught me something, and I loved being able to turn that experience into something that could help other people starting — or improving — their own Airbnb 💡

And if you’re starting an Airbnb yourself, or have an existing property that needs a new look, this is exactly what I can help with 🙌

The details make the difference. ✨

This hallway was never meant to feel ordinary… every corner was designed to create a moment.

From the victorian patterned flooring, oversized mirrors, sculptural pieces and layered lighting… the goal was to honour the building’s history while giving it a completely elevated identity.

What I love most about projects like this is creating visual tension… Old architecture paired with modern art.
Soft lighting against bold textures.
Classic structure with dramatic styling.

The result is a hallway that doesn’t just connect rooms — it sets the tone for the entire property. 🏛️

Developers: this is what separates a standard renovation from a memorable one. People remember how a space made them feel.

Looking to collaborate on high-end statement interiors.

📩 DM me to c reate something unforgettable.

Communal, but make it with a twist ✨🍽️

I’m so excited to finally share a closer look at this communal kitchen & chill zone from my latest project. The whole idea behind this space was to create somewhere that feels warm, welcoming, and genuinely social — a space where residents can cook together, catch up, work, relax, and actually enjoy spending time in. ☕️🛋️

But obviously… I couldn’t leave it there without adding some personality!

The artwork was a huge focal point in this room. The “VOGUE” piece is the first thing your eye lands on … a classic portrait that I customised with vibrant neon graffiti details to give it that mix of timeless elegance and modern edge. 🎨✨

To pull everything together, I carried those same colourful accents across the sculpture and the hand-painted vase too, which made the whole space feel cohesive whilst still keeping that bold energy. 👩‍🎨

I’m officially looking to take on more bespoke artwork projects as well, so if you’re after something completely unique and tailored to your space/style, send me a DM 💌

What’s your favourite detail in this room?
