We’re starting work on a new double-storey extension project. 🇬🇧🏡

The aim is to extend the existing property over two floors, creating more usable living space while also improving the overall layout and long-term value of the home.

With this type of project in the UK, it’s not just about the design — the planning strategy is just as important. Our first step will be to submit a Pre-Application to the local council so we can get early feedback on the scale, height, relationship with neighbouring properties and the overall planning approach.

Once we receive that feedback, we’ll develop the design further and move on to the next planning and technical stages.

For us, an extension is not simply about adding extra square metres. When it’s designed properly, it can completely improve how a home works and add real value to the property.

Liverpool’da yeni bir projeye daha başlıyoruz. 🇬🇧🏡

Geçtiğimiz günlerde bu mülke giderek ilk saha incelememizi yaptık ve iki katlı uzatma projesi için gerekli tüm ölçüleri aldık.

Buradaki amacımız, mevcut evi daha verimli kullanmak ve aile için daha geniş, daha kullanışlı bir yaşam alanı oluşturmak. İki kat üzerinden yapılacak bu yeni uzatmanın hem mevcut bina ile uyumlu olması hem de bahçe kullanımı ve iç mekân planlaması açısından doğru çözülmesi bizim için çok önemli.

Bu aşamada doğru ölçü almak ve mevcut yapıyı iyi analiz etmek işin en kritik kısmı. Bundan sonraki süreçte tasarım alternatiflerini geliştirecek, planlamayı netleştirecek ve projeyi bir sonraki aşamaya hazırlayacağız.

Bizim için bir uzatma projesi sadece eve birkaç metrekare eklemek değil. Amaç, evin tamamını daha kullanışlı hale getirmek, iç mekân akışını iyileştirmek, yeni yaşam alanları oluşturmak ve mülke uzun vadede değer katmak.

Liverpool’daki bu projenin ilerleyen aşamalarını da paylaşmaya devam edeceğiz.

Planning Approved! ✅ | Halewood, Liverpool

We’re pleased to have secured planning permission for the former Halewood Post Office, a building with a long-standing presence in the local area.

Our approved proposals include a new single-storey rear extension, alterations to the existing commercial unit and improvements to the front elevation.

It’s always great to work with an existing building that has a story behind it — and even better to see it moving towards a new chapter.

With planning now secured, we’re moving on to the Building Regulations and construction stage. 🏗️

A big day for one of our projects here in Liverpool. 🇬🇧🏛️

We’re currently working on the conversion of this beautiful Victorian property into six self-contained flats.

The original planning application was refused, so rather than stopping there, we took the project forward through the planning appeal process.

Today marked an important stage, with the Planning Inspector visiting the property in person. We walked through the building, reviewed the existing layout and condition, looked at the garden and considered how the proposal relates to the surrounding area.

The site visit is now complete, so the next step is to wait for the Inspector’s decision.

Projects like this are a good reminder that architecture is not just about drawings. Planning strategy, appeals, heritage considerations, existing building constraints and understanding the local context can all play a major part in getting a project over the line.

Bence mimarlık ofislerinin iletişim stratejisi artık tamamen değişiyor 🇬🇧

Eskiden sadece proje paylaşmak yeterliydi.
Şimdi insanlar:
▪️ süreci görmek istiyor
▪️ sizi tanımak istiyor
▪️ nasıl düşündüğünüzü görmek istiyor
▪️ ofisin arkasındaki insanı merak ediyor

Özellikle yapay zekanın bu kadar hayatın içine girdiği bir dönemde artık herkes güzel görsel üretebiliyor.
Ama karakter, bakış açısı ve gerçek deneyim kısmı hâlâ çok önemli.

Bu yüzden artık sadece render paylaşan değil;
anlatan, gösteren, süreç paylaşan ofislerin daha fazla öne çıkacağını düşünüyorum.
