• Making a statement •

Last weeks wedding for M&O at Palm House Sefton Park was all about making a statement. The colour palette was perfect to create an impact against the white flooring and linens.

I added Anthuriums for a modern edge, inkeeping with the planting inside the palm house.

The aisle was a lush walkway filled with hydrangeas which led to the stage which showcased a beautiful plinth install of 4 freestanding designs.

Every element of the wedding from buttonholes, bouquets, aisle designs, table flowers and statement pieces was cohesive. I handcrafted every design to represent my clients love for bold and impactful florals.

All designs are my own and designed, as always, with fresh flowers.

• Why Somerset Blooms? •

For me, it always comes back to the flowers. I care about the quality of what I buy and grow, the way I condition and use it, and the craftsmanship that goes into making something really beautiful, not just something that looks good in a photo.

Whether its a wedding, event, funeral or a gift bouquet I want the flowers to do all the talking.

I am pretty proud of the work I do, and I am proud that my business stands for things that make buying and receiving flowers a special occasion in itself.

• Elegant wedding •

A couple of photos from the wedding of S&C I did on Sunday.

My Bride chose a simple and elegant aesthetic with a statement focus on the floral beams and candlelight.

I loved designing this wedding look because it brought new challenges like dressing beams at Allerton Manor Golf Club that has never been done at the venue before. And it looked stunning 😍

The couple had their own floral collection with matching buttonholes and bouquets and venue decor. I used a unique combination of Roses, Orchids, Dahlias and Anthurium for interest, and to bring a modern edge to a traditional wedding.
