Important update for supporters + customers
Etsy has been causing havoc recently with its use of AI bot systems and the AI has mistakenly flagged our shop for going against policy's that we aren't going against.
I have reached out to Etsy about this error and so far have been met with "AI assistants" and vague statements that just dismiss the concern entirely, and this is happening to many other shop owners too. It seems that there is no human contact on the Etsy customer service side :(
There is a potential that my Etsy shop will be closed because of this, and it's incredibly upsetting as I've been running this shop for 3 years and built a really nice community from it. I'm unsure what the outcome will be, but if for any reason Etsy decides to just close my shop anyway - I'm already looking for alternatives: Folksy being a second shop.
I'd like to thank everyone who has supported my small business so far, because of you we have raised hundreds of pounds to go to cats in need.
For anyone still waiting on an order - don't panic, I've got them all lined up in preparation.
The use of AI has once again hurt another small business, and I'm getting tired of it being used in this way to side-step the important work of real people.
