Remember my red Spaceboy bin? Well, here's the finished result! ✨

This WESCO - Deutschland Spaceboy bin was a birthday gift from my husband around 17 years ago. It had become rather tired-looking, and the red no longer worked with my home.
But I didn't want to throw it away. It has sentimental value, and it's a lovely, distinctive piece in its own right.
After asking for suggestions, I eventually found a local specialist stove enameller who did a fantastic job. It's now a gorgeous gold colour and looks practically brand new!
It got me thinking about how often we replace things simply because they're looking a little dated, battered or no longer suit our style.
Sometimes, a change of colour, a repair or a professional refurbishment is all that's needed to make something feel right again.
Good interior design isn't always about buying more. It's about making thoughtful choices and finding ways to create a home that feels right for you.

The transformation was carried out by 'C&G Finishes' based in Liverpool, a specialist stove enameller who did a fantastic job. It's a great example of how professional refurbishment can give a much-loved item a new lease of life.
