Meet Heulwen this weeks Bear on the Square and a true ray of sunshine!

Heulwen is known as the sunshine bear of Llandovery. No matter what the weather is doing, they always seem to bring a little brightness wherever they go. Their favourite blue jumper features a golden sunrise, reminding everyone that every day is a fresh start.

Heulwen loves early mornings and can often be found watching the first light creep over the hills. They collect stories of hopeful beginnings – a new friendship, a kind gesture, a challenge overcome – and carry them around like treasures.

Whenever someone feels a little gloomy, Heulwen has a special talent for helping them spot the good things they might have missed. Some say that if you find Heulwen hidden in the square, your day is about to get a little brighter.

Heulwen likes watching sunrises and sunsets and collecting happy stories from people they meet. On the other hand they don't like people saying "it's impossible" before they've tried or being late for the first rays of sunshine!

Heulwen is looking for a home filled with optimism, laughter, and people who always try to see the bright side. They'd love a windowsill to sit on, a favourite chair to share, and a family who enjoys making happy memories together.

Heulwen says:
"I don't need perfect weather to be happy. I just need a little kindness, a little hope, and a place where I can help people smile."

Let's hope someone finds Heulwen and they can bring the sunshine out every single day!!!! If you get lucky don't forget to take a selfie and shere to Facebook and Instagram, tag in and use the

Meet Blodwen, this weeks Bear on the Square ( and what a perfect name for a bear in daisy cover trousers!!!)

Blodwen is happiest when spring arrives in Llandovery and the meadows burst into colour. She wears her favourite daisy trousers all year round because they remind her that even after the longest winter, flowers always return.

Every morning, Blodwen sets off on a gentle wander around the square, searching for signs of nature — a new blossom, a busy bee, or a ladybird enjoying the sunshine. She keeps a secret notebook filled with sketches of flowers and stories about the places she discovers. If you find Blodwen, she may even share one of her favourite meadow secrets with you.

Blodwen says the daisies on her trousers have been stitched there by her woodland friends, each one representing a happy adventure she has had across the Welsh countryside but now she'd like to settle into a new family.

She'd love a cosy home with a sunny windowsill where she can watch the seasons change while keeping an eye on visiting birds and a family who enjoys countryside walks, gardening, or simply stopping to admire the flowers along the way.

But she isn't interested in grand adventures or noisy excitement—she'd much rather spend her days sharing stories, encouraging kindness, and reminding everyone to notice the little things that make life beautiful.

If you'd like to offer this friendly, kind bear a home, she'll be out hiding tomorrow morning somewhere in Llandovery's Market Square, if you find her be sure to take a selfie with Blodwen and share to Facebook and Instagram, tag in and add the

Meet Cadi Calon our Bear in the Square this week and out hiding now!!!!

Cadi Calon is known around Llandovery for wearing the warmest jumper in town — knitted with a bright red heart stitched right into the middle. She’s a thoughtful little bear who loves bringing comfort wherever she goes. If someone’s having a difficult day, Cadi somehow appears nearby, ready with a cosy cuddle and a cheerful smile.

She spends her mornings exploring the square and her evenings hiding among colourful bundles of wool, listening to stories from knitters and dreaming up adventures. Legend says the heart on her jumper glows a little brighter whenever kindness is shared nearby.

Cadi Calon likes fresh bara brith and warm tea, collecting colourful buttons and ribbons. What she doesn't like is tangled yarn (but then no knitter does!!!) or being rushed when there’s exploring to do which is why she was missing last week when she was due to be out hiding in the square instead she was found in my bag joining us on our visit to The Big Flock in Bristol!!!!!

Be warned if you find her she likes exploring!!!! be sure to share on Facebook/Instagram with a selfie tag in and

Good luck bear hunting!
