Very lucky to have lots of medicinal herbs growing on our holding! Today I have been getting into jars the wonderful Meadowsweet that I harvested here and dried for my clients. Amongst many things, this herb offers relief from pain and inflammation, digestive issues, urinary problems and improves sleep. Not to mention how beautiful the clouds of sweet smelling flowers are in July and August!

After 3 years of study and hard work I am now qualified as an Integrative Herbal Medicine Therapist! This wonderful holistic approach to health includes healing through diet and nutrition, herbal medicine and Iridology. I am very proud to be a part of School of Natural Medicine UK and excited for the next part of the journey! Over the coming months I will be gently setting up my practice (and possibly new name) which will offer 1:1 programs, workshops and community healing. Watch this space…

is about whole people, whole plants, mind, body + spirit.
Hippocrates taught this centuries ago, we humans are the same now as then, but the lifestyle and way we live in this world has changed.
Many say look to the basics of life, root causes of illness coming from the roots, but by working with trained professionals that give time to this way of much can be gained.
Do we have to know how something works to see the results.
Science thinks so, others work with instincts, intuition and nature, but are ridiculed by some that see life different.
Choice is essential in all things, working with true self and being proud of who we unique individuals are, facing the challenges life constantly throws at us.
This educational charity was born from pressure to conform to changes the government were imposing after the Second World War.
Hilda Leyel supported her beliefs and those of others, to ensure we have a choice in our health care. Those issues are still raising there head around the world today, which is why and we have a safe place to be open with each other.
Herbs are our past but also our present and our future.

After lots of hard work and self healing as part of my course my Nutritional Consultant Diploma has arrived today! I can now start to build my practice and am currently studying herbal medicine which I look forward to adding in when I qualify 😊
