Crouch End Project | Master Bedroom Transformation

A bedroom should be more than a place to sleep.

It should be a space that helps you switch off from the outside world, recharge, and start each day feeling your best.

When we began working on this home, our clients told us they wanted spaces that felt personal, joyful, and full of character. The house felt like a blank canvas, and they wanted it to truly reflect who they are.

For the master bedroom, we focused on creating a calm and restorative atmosphere.

The soft blue tones create a sense of tranquillity, while terracotta pink bespoke joinery introduces warmth, personality, and depth. Rich textures, warm wood finishes, velvet details, and soft carpeting make the room feel comfortable and inviting.

Lighting was another important consideration. The scheme was designed to adapt throughout the day, creating a gentle atmosphere in the evening and a brighter, more uplifting environment during darker winter mornings.

Every detail was carefully considered, not only for how it looks, but for how it makes the room feel. A space that helps our clients fully switch off at the end of the day and wake up feeling ready for whatever comes next.

A dressing room should be more than a place to store clothes.

It should feel personal. Beautiful. A space that brings a little joy to your daily routine.

For this project, our clients wanted something elegant, feminine, and full of character.

The inspiration came from a soft bo***ir aesthetic. A space that feels calm, luxurious, and slightly unexpected.

One of the key features is the ceiling, painted as a cloudy sky, creating a sense of openness and adding a touch of whimsy to the room. Together with the statement chandelier, it immediately creates the wow effect our clients were looking for.

Storage was equally important. We designed bespoke wardrobes around the clients’ lifestyle and daily routines, ensuring every item had its place while maintaining a seamless and elegant appearance.

To make the space feel warm and inviting, we layered different textures throughout the room, from soft carpeting and velvet curtains to antique brass details and a large mirror that helps amplify light and space.

Behind the scenes, this transformation involved much more than design. Our team coordinated the entire process from start to finish, working closely with builders, decorators, electricians, furniture makers, and suppliers to ensure every detail was delivered as intended.

A space designed not only for storage, but for everyday enjoyment.

When people think about interior design, they often think about colours, furniture, materials, and beautiful finished spaces.

But the success of a renovation is rarely determined by those things alone.

At that stage, there are dozens of moving parts that need to be carefully coordinated.
Builders, suppliers, joinery makers, electricians, decorators, deliveries, lead times, installations, and site decisions.

A successful renovation is not just about the vision.

It’s about bringing that vision to life.

For this home office, the design was only the beginning. Once every detail was agreed, the focus shifted to coordination, planning, and ex*****on.

Bespoke joinery had to be manufactured and installed precisely. Electrical works needed to be completed before decorating. Paint colours, flooring, curtains, furniture, and lighting all had to arrive at the right time and in the right sequence.

There are many moving parts behind every renovation.

Builders, suppliers, installers, deliveries, measurements, approvals, and countless decisions that need to be coordinated throughout the project.

Our role is to manage that process from start to finish, ensuring that every detail is delivered as intended and that the finished space reflects the original vision.

What began as a blank canvas is now a space that truly feels like their home.

Crouch End Project | Home Office Transformation (Part 1)

When we first started working on this home, it felt like a blank canvas.

The clients knew they wanted something more personal and expressive, but they weren’t quite sure what that looked like yet. Together, we explored how they wanted each space to feel and what would make the home truly reflect them.

This home office is a perfect example.

At first glance, it might not be obvious, but the inspiration for this room came from one of our client’s greatest passions: football.

We translated that inspiration into a sophisticated and highly personal design language. The blue walls create a calm backdrop and continue the colour story running throughout the home. A bold red ceiling introduces an unexpected focal point and creates the wow effect the clients were looking for.

Storage was another important consideration. We designed bespoke shelving and joinery to maximise space for a growing book collection, colour-matched to the walls to create a seamless and cohesive look.

Green accents appear throughout the room, from the curtains to the chair, while the patterned carpet subtly reinforces the original inspiration behind the design.

The spaces lacked warmth, colour, and a sense of personality.

They knew they wanted to transform the home into something more personal and expressive, but they needed help shaping that vision and bringing it to life.

At the same time, they were preparing for an important new chapter in their lives, expecting a baby while planning a major renovation.

“What are your plans during the renovation?” is one of the first questions we ask during our discovery consultation.

Because every project is different, not only in design, but also in how our clients need to live throughout the process.

Some families temporarily relocate during major works. Others continue living in the property while the renovation is happening. Both approaches require careful planning and coordination.

A large part of our role is structuring the project around our clients’ lifestyle, routines, work schedules, and timelines, while coordinating builders, suppliers, installers, and the many moving parts behind the scenes.

A renovation should not feel like a second full-time job for the homeowner.

With the right planning and support, the process becomes far more manageable, organised, and clear.
