Surface Design Show 2026

Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend one of my favourite trade shows

My top 3 reasons why I enjoy it:

1)The venue
Easy to get to, high ceilings and natural light. Best of all, manegeable size, not too big, not too small.
2)Exhibitors
There is a quality selection of exhibitors, local and international that take their time to talk to you and have great knowleadge of their products. Having local and international projects makes it paramount to learn where manufacturers are based and their lead times to the UK and elsewhere.
3)innovation
It is a great place to explore new products, brands and technology in the surface industry that keeps up with green accreditations, trends and safety guidelines.

Personally, as I am based in SW London, it also gives me the opportunity to explore another part of London. Angel is full of beautiful little shops and cute streets.

What better than combining work with exploring new places, my two passions!

Feeling blessed to love what I do in such a vibrant city.

Today, on Father’s Day in El Salvador, my heart feels a mix of love, gratitude, and longing. Another year has passed without papi here with us, but his spirit remains an enduring presence in our lives.
Though he is no longer here physically, he lives on in every lesson he gave us, every note of music he cherished, every move he made at the chessboard, and every act of kindness he showed. Also, every time I see a sports car or hear an engine roar. His love, wisdom, and gentle humour continue to inspire us every day. Today, we honour him and celebrate the legacy of a man whose impact on our hearts is eternal.Happy Father’s Day in heaven. ❤️ your Orsetto Capuleto.

Happy Tuesday! ✨ Reflecting on a special moment from a month ago: receiving the Best in Houzz Service award at the Houzz Awards in London!

This lovely photo was taken by a professional photographer at the beautiful Vitra Bathrooms Showroom in London. Confession: I almost didn't share it because I forgot to take my glasses off! 😄 It's a new look for me, and it got me thinking about how accepting change, whether it's a new hairstyle or a new home design, takes time and courage.

Since I launched in 2020, I have had the privilege to work with incredible clients, trades, and suppliers. Winning this award for the fifth year is a testament to the hard work built through time and a wonderful community.

Tip Tuesday

Last week, I was invited by to attend a trade workshop at their store. It was a delightful masterclass on flower arrangements by the amazing in the style.

It is a great skill to add under my belt, especially for those hectic photoshoot days when you feel like there is something missing for that perfect shot! As an interior designer, every little detail matters.

Top tip: You don't need to spend a fortune on flowers to create an interesting piece. Moreover, we were encouraged to think outside the box and use different types of vessels.

So I went home with a few beautiful 💐 🌹 that were given to me at the workshop. Looked around and found the perfect vessel for my arrangement, an ewer, and voilà!
