🧧✨️Chinese new year fit✨️🧧

This garment is crafted from recycled denim, thoughtfully reconstructed by utilising every component of the original pieces — from pockets to waistbands — ensuring minimal waste♻️. It features a daring bare-back silhouette accented with red binding, symbolising festivity and prosperity while maintaining versatility for everyday wear beyond the celebration season🧧.

The look is completed with a vibrant red embroidered silk vest, detailed with three side knots 🎀 on each side that pay homage to traditional Chinese festive attire. The fusion of upcycled denim and classic oriental elements creates a modern yet culturally rooted statement piece.

'The Vow' is a storytelling, evening wear collection, created as part of my final-year project. I was inspired by my grandparent's love and bond for one another despite the hardships they've been through. I feel this is something rare in today's society and through this collection, I would also like to remind us on the value of love from the past.

The honeysuckle flower symbolises the flame of love and it was also used as an inspiration. It's curvy shapes can be seen on the garment designs and devore prints. Conversely, to practice the couture's tradition in integrating craftsmanship, hand embroidery and hand-drawn prints were also included in my designs.

Finally completed this crochet top! 🧶 Took ages to complete this top and had used nearly 6 rolls of yarns. I did shell stitch for this crochet top and added some design element such as handmade flowers with dutchess satin and ruffled collars 😍🌸

Highly inspired by the flowers during spring in London! 🇬🇧🌼

So glad to be able to watch the Framing Talent Fashion Show at the MIMA Art Gallery in May. I was really impressed by the designs and the construction of the garments👗. Everyone did such an amazing job🥺🥰 and there were few 'cheeky' design elements I really liked and I just couldn't stop zooming during the show HAHA!

THE YUWANA ZINE ISSUE NO. 5 IS OUT! 🎊🎉

So glad to be able to be part of another issue of the Yuwana Zine of the Asean Youth Forum (AYF) .youth.forum!

The theme is about 'EXPRESSING REMEMBERANCE' for International Day of Democracy, where we work together as a community to celebrate and pay tribute to those who had sacrifice for our country or even those who had made our country proud, through art❤️!
