Designed with circularity at its core, Bolon flooring is 100% climate neutral and manufactured using recycled and bio-sourced materials. During Clerkenwell Design Week, we introduced Back2Bolon, our new take-back initiative that enables flooring installed with non-permanent solutions to be returned, recycled and transformed into future collections, supporting a fully circular approach to design and production.

Sustainability has been part of Bolon’s DNA since the very beginning. What started in 1949 with weaving from waste materials continues today through constant innovation, local production and circular thinking.

In our newly released Sustainability Report 2025, we share the progress made over the past years, from reducing the climate impact of our products by 65% since 2018, to reaching 68% recycled material across all flooring and rugs, all produced in our climate-neutral factory in Ulricehamn, Sweden.

This year also marks the launch of Back2Bolon, our new take-back programme where old flooring and rugs can return to our factory to become new products, closing the loop and turning circularity into reality.

Throwing it back to this year’s where Bolon & came together to celebrate circular design, material innovation and contemporary outdoor living.

At the Bolon showroom, we unveiled Back2Bolon alongside the relaunch of the BKB Flooring & Rug Collection, with new additions from Tom Dixon exploring the intersection of durability, sustainability and design.

The courtyard was transformed into an inviting outdoor lounge featuring GROOVE lounge chairs and café tables, portable and JACK lighting, layered with Bolon outdoor rugs throughout the space.

Beyond the showroom, the collaboration extended to where Bolon rugs brought our signature woven flooring into one of Clerkenwell’s most loved hospitality spaces.

Thank you to everyone who visited, followed and supported the collaboration during CDW, we look forward to welcoming you again soon.

What a remarkable week !
Thank you to everyone who visited us across the 3 days and experienced our latest innovation in circular design with the launch of Back2Bolon and the relaunch of our BKB flooring and rug collection.
We hope you enjoyed experiencing the transformed courtyard lounge featuring outdoor GROOVE collection, including the new lounge chairs and café tables, portable and JACK lights, layered with Bolon outdoor rugs, paired with Bolon outdoor rugs in our showroom courtyard.

We hope you all enjoyed yourselves and left feeling inspired.
