90% of our time is estimated to be spent indoors. If you work from home, the majority of that will be spent in your house. I was shocked when I heard this, but it just reminds us how important it is to create a home we love.

That doesn’t have to be an Instagram home, with minimalist shelves and formal sofas, but a home you truly love, one that works perfectly for your unique family. Whether that’s a deep, comfy sofa for movie nights or a bed as big as you can fit for Sunday morning snuggles.

I’m beyond excited to launch our new interior design event series.

My vision is to create a light-hearted, parent-focussed baby class, think 𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯 + 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘺, where you can chat with fellow design-lovers and leave feeling inspired. Whether you’re looking to refresh your home or just want to learn a little more about interior design, the sessions offer a welcoming space to empower your inner creative.

Babies aren’t required, but are absolutely welcomed. We have plenty of high chairs and you’ll receive a handbook to take away so you won’t miss out if your little one decides they don’t feel like learning about design that day!

Over the next few days I’ll share more about each session, the story behind the series and the lovely brands we’ve partnered with.

7 years ago today I met this amazing man 🤍

It was Easter Sunday, and I wasn’t supposed to go out, but my friend convinced me and that’s where it all began. We only spoke for 5 minutes (as he couldn’t understand my ‘high pitched British accent’) but for some reason I went to sleep saying I would marry that man. We’re from different sides of the world, have no mutual friends or reason to ever cross paths, so I always wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t acted out of character and been spontaneous that day.

It’s strange to think you never know if the decision you’re making in the moment could end up altering your life path. I always try and remember that when I’m finding the confidence to be brave and venture out of my comfort zone. As my favourite quote goes, you can only connect the dots looking back.

Philosophical moment over and now we’re going to eat Caribbean food and watch 90 day fiancé - the perfect celebration evening!

In case I’m not the only one who has been on a new term - new house reorganisation mission this week, I wanted to share our recent 𝘐𝘯 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 blog with Caroline Caron Dhaouadi again. Founder of , an award-winning luxury home & office organisation company, Caroline had some great practical tips for maintaining household organisation.

My main take away - you need a system!

“First, create your system; every single item should have a home within your home. Next you need labels, these can be discreetly hidden within drawers and behind doors, but they make it very easy for everyone to put things back in the right place. Lastly, make sure everyone in the house is aware and follows the system!”

A calming bathroom before and after for your Monday.

You can always tell if a space has been thoughtfully designed by looking at the tile joints. See how the terrazzo lines up with the subway tiles, which then sets out the niche position? This brings me so much joy!
