A beautiful piece of art is often the perfect foundation when creating a new space. Here is a beautiful piece we chose for a past project, by artist . Not only does it add personality and individuality, but it can also help define your color palette and overall design direction. If you’re still searching for that perfect artwork, don’t worry! A well-chosen rug can also play a similar role, adding texture and warmth while guiding your color scheme.

This month’s edit brings together all the ingredients for an easy summer picnic. From Hastshilp’s scalloped rattan tray and shaded parasol by East London Parasole Company, to The White Company’s lemon-scented candles and the terrazzo tumblers by Late Afternoon (my personal favourite) for relaxed outdoor entertaining. Style it with soft throws, printed napkins and a chilled bottle on ice for a countryside moment that feels relaxed but considered, ideal for garden gatherings or slow weekends in the sun. This window treatment was a toughy! Situated in a beautiful thatched house with a pitched roof and curved top, (swipe to see the before) it definitely made us scratch our heads for a while, but with thoughtful attention to detail and some team work with we did it and it looks so pretty!
