A little Ryukyu indigo dyeing in Okinawa 💙

We visited 藍風 Aikaze Ryukyu Indigo, tucked away in the mountains of Motobu in northern Okinawa, to try traditional Ryukyu indigo dyeing.

Learning how to bind the fabric, dipping it into the huge indigo vats and then opening everything up at the end to see what we’d made. The best kind of day.

Aikaze grow their own Ryukyu indigo and make their dye using a natural fermentation process, which made it even more special to experience it where it’s actually made.

Definitely one of my favourite days from this trip 💙

Great day at The Classic Car Boot Sale yesterday! 🤠✨

So good to catch up with everyone and come home with some great vintage finds. Lots of inspiration too for the new pieces I’ve just started working on 👀

And obviously another excuse to wear my favourite hat from Matt Kitto 🤎

Always such a great event with the best energy 💫

King's Cross N1C The Classic Car Boot Sale

Finally got this cowboy out in the wild 🤠🐎🌵

My latest handmade macramé wall hanging, inspired by vintage Western imagery and made entirely from recycled cotton cord. A LOT of knots went into this one 😅

Designed and hand-knotted in my East London studio. Obviously I had to dress for the occasion ✨

Yesterday at the Battle of Britain Air Show at Duxford ✈️

Really fun day! Incredible old planes, vintage military inspiration everywhere and a chance to see the Spitfire painted by Ed Anthony Stanford up close. So proud ❤️

Of course we had to dress for the occasion… both of our jackets hand painted by Ed Anthony Stanford , with my Kali | Fashion Designer & Fibre Artist bag strap thrown into the mix.

So cool seeing so many of these beautiful old aircraft actually flying - the sound of them in the air was something else. And the jeep ride was an added bonus 💫
