Remade with Love

I found a new way to repurpose used tea leaves! All those nice smelling blends can be dried and repurposed after you finish your fav cuppa (air dry or very low temp in air fryer). I decided to get slightly creative based on a recipe for bath bombs. I used 3 different blends: English Rose loose Tea mixed with beetroot powder for pink, Christmas Blend (just tea and pedals for this one, no colour) and lavender buds with blue matcha.
Not bad huh?

Hello all! This month I am a kraken, raising money by swimming 12km and making handcrafted pumpkin heat pads for the , a fundraising project that supports a children’s charity, the Ministry of Stories. I am gifting those microwaveable heat-pads to those who support me with a donation of £25. All the pumpkins are 100% upcycled using old socks, sleeves from worn out sweaters and scraps of fabric. Hello friends & network. I am fundraising for a 's art by participating in Monster March, a fundraising project at the Ministry of Stories. I will be swimming 12 km and crafting hand made pumpkin-shaped heat pads, made from 100% and materials. For every donation over £25 you will get a hand crafted pumpkin as a thank you, (freshly chlorinated from the pool, obviously!)

What do you do with the recipes you find in magazines? I used to keep those badly cut, messy, random pages in a box but decided to make a cooking recipe scrapbook instead! Random sizes, odd blank pages, all binded together. And I love it!

When I launched this business I made a commitment to myself and to my clients. I would donate to a cause for every invoice paid. My target is a 10% donation over profit for each workshop delivered. I might not always reach that number, but I will do my best to increase it. Today was payday and being true to myself, I made my first donation to the place that hosted my workshop last week. Vision, values, vibe are the core of a small business.

I am finally here and I am so excited about this! My paper pages are 100% recycled, handmade from shredded bills and egg boxes and you’ll find the odd page decorated with lavender flowers. My print is from fresh flowers that grow in my Maker’s garden, binded together using a single page japanese book binding technique. Useless tip of the day: you can use “binded” instead of “bound” when you are talking about paper! What a word! I am remade with love, (for paper and grammar) and this is my story 💜
