Our concept for this farmhouse grew out of our work on the clients’ London home. They wanted to bring that same sense of continuity and calm with them to the countryside.

Our scheme centres around natural materials and soft, earthy tones, creating a sense of tranquillity and with extraordinary 360° views, the landscape becomes part of the experience.

Yayoi Kusama. 💛🖤

I’ve followed her work for many years and took these photographs on Naoshima Island.

I’ve always been fascinated by the relationship between our inner world and the world around us, something Kusama understood in the most extraordinary way.

Through repetition, scale, colour, pattern and space, Kusama created artworks and experiences that alter how we see and feel. Whether encountered in a gallery, outdoors or within an immersive installation, her work invites us to experience the world differently.

I’ve been spending a lot of time recently exploring how the spaces and environments around us affect the way we feel within ourselves, and particularly how our homes can hold, shape and reflect our experience.

I’ll be sharing some of that soon.

Thank you, Yayoi Kusama, for such an extraordinary legacy. 💛.

The weather takes us back to Sri Lanka, working on our project for Soul & Surf. 🏄 ☀️

Cast concrete throughout, made by hand with a brilliant local team. An arched opening, a bath set into the garden, materials chosen for the climate. Guests step in from the heat of the day and the space does the rest: a cool soak under open sky, every detail built for relaxation.

Artwork installed!
Always a pleasure collaborating with the brilliant team at Zhero.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We worked with our lovely client to create this bespoke 3D installation. Beyond its sculptural quality, it plays an important role in softening the acoustics in a space with very few soft finishes, proving that functional design can be beautiful too.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Inspired by the softness of a cloud and the delicacy of clustered butterfly wings, the installation creates a quiet dialogue with the garden beyond, adding movement, texture and a sense of calm to the room.

Working on our Hertfordshire project. ✨

Mood of the day:
Sun-washed walls and a soft play of light.
Sculptural pieces sit easily within an earthy, organic palette, with a sense of the Mediterranean running through it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
An interior shaped by atmosphere — tactile and instinctively composed.

Continuing the bathroom theme.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Soft tonal layering with plaster, brass, stone and antiques.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Contemporary, serene, luxurious - it’s all in the detail.
