Recently arrived in London. A wonderful selection of vintage glass Christmas decorations from The Soviet Union. We have cosmonauts, a couple of Man in the Moon and a bugle bead windmill in a larger size than normal.

We are very happy to say that another box has arrived filled with vintage Christmas decorations. These are from the former Soviet Union 1950’s and 1960’s.

The tree for August. We have dressed the tree with concaves, these are all glass and made in the former countries of East and West Germany and The Soviet Union in the 1950’s and 1960’s. We are thrilled by how many double, triple and quadruple examples we are able to show this month.

We have just finished unwrapping a huge box of decorations, see my last two posts to see everything. In this selection we have icicles, a spinning top, a clown, the Wizard Chernomor, some cosmonauts, a pinecone, snowmen, a Father Christmas, a small Mastino from Cipollino and other characters from Soviet literature.

The second layer of a large box of baubles that have just arrived in London. These are all made in the former Soviet Union in the 1950’s and 1960’s. We have corn, pickles, mushrooms, a tomato, walnuts, strawberries, a green chilli, a lemon, an acorn, a pear, a peapod, Yule pyramids, pigs, a bear in a birch tree, a lion, a bird, a soldier with a red star, red riding hood, Father Christmas holding a tree, grandfather mushroom and a nesting doll.

A mixed box of Christmas decorations just arrived in London. These are all glass and from the former Soviet Union. Made in the 1950’s and 1960’s.

This litter of poodles has just arrived and will be labelled ready for the shop. These are all made in the former Soviet Union and in very good condition.

We will be doing an all animal tree this September and today we have been labelling lots of beautiful decorations. These are all glass and from the 1950’s and 1960’s.

Gena the Crocodile from Eduard Uspensky’s story Cheburashka Written in the 1960’s in the former Soviet Union the book was turned into a highly successful cartoon for Soviet television.
