A quick look at one wall in the shop this morning. These vintage glass Christmas decorations are from the former Soviet Union, the former Czechoslovakia and Poland. We are open till 6.00pm today and as always we post to anywhere that Royal Mail delivers.

Our newly decorated tree. For this month we have used Yule Pyramids, these are all glass decorations from the former Soviet Union and presented in good condition. It is the first time since July 2023 we have had enough stock for an entire tree.

We are thrilled to show these vintage glass Christmas decorations from the former Soviet Union. These are part of nearly 1000 decorations we have managed to find on our recent buying trips.

A quick overview of the shop. The tree is dressed with mushrooms, all glass and mostly made in the former Soviet Union in the 1950’s.

A recently arrived collection of vintage wooden nutcrackers, mostly made in Erzgebirge , Germany. Some still bearing factory labels from the time when it was the G.D.R. East Germany.

A new delivery of vintage Christmas decorations made of glass in the former Soviet Union. We have a couple of Pinocchio’s, a dirigible, a friend x playing a balalaika, a frog in a headscarf, nesting dolls, a Father Christmas, a pink pig, bears, a poodle, pendants, a dolphin and a golden fish, baubles with World Peace in Cyrillic and with White Doves, and a teapot in perfect condition.

For May, we have dressed the tree with mushrooms, toadstools, fungi. These are all glass and made in the former Soviet Union in the 1950’s 1960’s and the former Czechoslovakia in the 1970’s.

From the former Soviet Union, we have these glass decorations that were made in the 1950’s and 1960’s. All are presented in good condition and ready for your tree. We have Cosmonauts, the man in the moon, suns, flying saucers, rockets, satellites.

We are just labelling the contents of a small box that recently arrived in London. The clown we have never seen before, there is a wonderful Wizard Chernomor, a couple of characters from The Wizard of Oz, Godwin the wizard and the character we know as Dorothy here in the West. The cosmonauts are already on the wall and the others are on the tree.

Aprils tree this year is all about characters. These are all glass and made in the former Soviet Union 1950’s-1970’s. Some are just single decorations and others we have multiples of in slight colour variations.
