I’m Gloria, founder of Tailored Living Interiors. A boutique, full turnkey design studio. We work across London, Surrey, and Kent, and internationally when a project calls for it. Right now that’s two projects underway in the Cayman Islands, and a small new project just starting in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, for a returning London client.

We only take a small number of projects at a time, so I work personally with every client from first concept through to final styling. On our feed, expect to see plenty of before-and-afters, design tips, and lots of interior inspiration along the way.

The Principal Bedroom at The Lucan, and three rules from it you can steal for your own room.

Pick one fixed material first, a stone, a wood tone, a metal finish, and build every fabric and colour choice against it. Ours here was a warm oak with brushed brass. Choose that anchor before you choose anything pretty.

Treat your headboard wall as one composition, not separate decisions. Panelling, lighting and artwork were planned together here, not added piece by piece, which is why it reads as considered rather than assembled.

Style in odd numbers, and mix in at least one imperfect or organic texture, ceramics, dried stems, a well-worn book, against your cleaner pieces. It’s what stops a room feeling staged.

Battersea Power Station, Oakley House. 🏙️

A bespoke residence in one of London’s most recognisable addresses. The building already has presence. Our job was to make sure the interior matched it, without competing with it.

We kept the palette quiet and let the materials do the work. Warm timber, soft stone tones, considered lighting that changes the mood of the room through the day. Every piece was selected to feel as permanent as the building it sits next to.

This is what happens when a landmark meets a home that’s actually liveable in.
