I was asked to make a little character doll of Jo to commemorate when she completed the 2026 London Marathon 💪🏻 well done, massive achievement 👏🏻

And yes, it does say what you think on the medal 😂 (a cheeky wink from one friend to another 😜) love those little details that really set a piece off, the guy that engraved it for me had a good chuckle too 😂

I went for a different take on my daughter's Easter Bonnet this year.
Instead of buying more craft supplies that will inevitably end up in the bin in a few weeks I used what I had and went for the crochet option instead. Thought about a bunny top hat but figured she would get a lot more use out of a flower fairy bonnet instead.

I used the Flower Hood pattern by & whatever yarn I had hiding away in my stash (think it's a red heart as quite stiff)

Both Hero and I are beyond obsessed with this, it's adorable! She's not even waiting for the Easter arcade at school, she's wearing it already ❤️

Cute little "Hedwig" owl made for my favourite Muggle's birthday!

Made with a fluffy yarn from my stash as I thought this would give me more of a feathery look (actually gave me a headache! 🤣 Dunno how you clever crocheters work with the stuff!)

Been playing around with crochet mandalas. I used the pattern "Autumn Wind" by Wizard of Loops.
I made the pink to purple fade first with a 1.75 hook but It was far to big for the 45cm hoop. So I made it again with a 1.5 hook and it still felt too baggy for the hoop. So at this point I have up and ordered new hoops 🤣
The purple to pink is on a 50cm hoop and the pink to purple is on a 55cm.

Really enjoyed these (apart from the sizing issues 🤣) will definitely be making more
