We’re in the thick of half term over here. Lots of play and snacks happening. Work wise… I’m attempting to release a new piece and maybe a new craft kit in time for Mother’s Day 🤞🏼.

Hello hello, we’ve experienced a slight hiccup in our Christmas season. I called a time out after we went down with Covid. But I’m ready to get back in the game! Anyone else on the covid train?

I’ve had to cancel a few fairs so that we could isolate after our positive results. This has left us with a bit of left over Christmas stock, mostly cards. I’m going to try and plan a stories sale one evening so watch this space.

Here is an example of our Christmas cards. A little bit of mistletoe for all you love birds out there.

But for now, it’s a date with my couch, the blanket and Netflix!

In small business world it’s indie week. A week dedicated to promoting small businesses and shopping small.

Today’s focus is the ‘Just a card’ message and what it means.

I created this paper cut for last years challenge and it has been everywhere with me ever since. I have even sent it out to a few small businesses (scroll through to see an image kindly posted by ).

The message in this piece is exactly how I would explain ‘just a card’. Every order made big or small keeps my small business world spinning. So, thank you for supporting my page and my work.

I also want to cheekily add, that Christmas is the time of year that most small businesses rely on in terms of sales. So when your buying your gifts this year, consider making that purchase from a small business, Amazon won’t notice but we really will 🤷🏽‍♀️

Introducing the Feathered Friends collection. So which one do you like best?

Thank you to everyone who has been asking asking questions and claiming their own. Here’s a few answers to some of the questions I have received…

Q: Can I have a different background colour?
A: Yes, absolutely

Q: can I have the same colour on more than one?
A: yes, I can do whatever you prefer.

W: Do they come framed?
A: yes, they’re in a 15x15 deep shadow frame, the papercut is mounted on Perspex so that you get that beautiful floating effect.

Q: Can I hang them?
A: yes there’s a hook thing on the back, or I like to use those hanging strips, or the. Frame is Chunchon so they’re very sturdy standing.
