πΊπ¦ Four years since the start of russiaβs full-scale invasion of Ukraine
Today, 24 February 2026, Australian-Ukrainian community members and supporters will stand as one to mark four years since russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine - and more than 12 years since russia occupied Crimea and began its war against the Ukrainian people.
π Millions of Ukrainians have endured unimaginable suffering - homes reduced to rubble, families torn apart, children growing up to the sound of air raids and in darkness, and thousands of lives lost.
Every day, ordinary people live under the constant threat of death, displacement, and trauma as their cities and communities are attacked by russia.
π¦πΊπΊπ¦ For Australian-Ukrainians, it is carried in daily phone calls, moments of dread, and the constant fear for loved ones back home.
Today, and every day, we stand in solidarity π€ with our brave and resilient families and friends in Ukraine, and remember those lost to russiaβs war.
ππ Ukraine endures. Ukraine resists. Ukraine will prevail.
