A novel of the Royal Engineers in the retreat through France and Belgium.

Until the 31st July you have the opportunity to have a name published in the book as a nominal roll, before the book is released later this year.

In European folklore, the stag is a creature of the deep forest, often seen as a guide between worlds. With antlers like branching trees, it is tied to ancient woodland and old magic, a symbol of strength, renewal, and the wild places that endure beyond human reach.
