A sholpy is a traditional piece of Kazakh hair jewellery, worn at the end of braids. It moves with the hair and often creates a soft, delicate sound 🎶

Historically, sholpy symbolised femininity, beauty, and cultural identity. It was a part of everyday life as well as special occasions, connecting women to their heritage.

Today, sholpy is being reimagined as modern Central Asian jewellery, blending tradition with contemporary design.
