I’m a luxury interior designer and these 3 curtain mistakes are quietly shrinking your rooms:

1️⃣ Hanging your pole too low - Most people hang their curtain pole just above the window frame. But the position of your pole has *nothing* to do with where your window is and has *everything* to do with how tall you want your room to feel.

⭐️ The rule: hang your pole as close to the ceiling as possible. Low curtains make ceilings feel shorter. High and wide curtains instantly elevate the whole room.

2️⃣ Hanging skinny curtains - Curtains that are stretched flat across the window look cheap no matter how much you paid for them. Fullness is what makes curtains look expensive. Elevate your space by taking your curtains wide if the wall allows - even if your window is small.
