Our Victorian glass covered serving counter holds compartments crammed with watercolour tins, silverpoint paraphernalia and this particular display of nibs. All are usually half hidden beneath a plethora (aka a clutter) of glass jars containing our miniature travel brushes, micro point pens and ultra thin pencils. Next time you are waiting for your purchases to be wrapped in our brown paper bags, take a look in these cases, there are often special offers hidden amongst the items of historical interest and nuggets of information….

Our Iconography window 2026. Featuring works by students of renowned iconographer and writer, Aidan Hart, on the three-year, part-time Iconography Painting Programme at The King’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts. Artworks are created using many of our pigments, gold leaf and gilding tools. We have collaborated with Aidan Hart to make a set of 9 essential iconography pigments but we also offer a wide range of colours suitable for every discipline and available as raw pigment, in paint tubes, pans, oil sticks, pastels, pencils, drawing and printing inks.
