Some images of Maa are displayed. Others become part of the home. ❤️

As Navratri approaches, our homes begin to change.

The diyas come out. Flowers appear at the mandir. Garba songs we have heard since childhood begin playing again. And for nine nights, we celebrate Shakti, the divine feminine power embodied by Maa.

It felt like the perfect time to share one of the most special pieces in our collection.

Our Ambe Maa artwork is painted entirely by hand - not printed or reproduced. Look closely and you begin to see the craftsmanship that a photograph can only partly capture: natural vegetable-based pigments, delicate 24kt gold leaf, intricate detailing and Swarovski crystal embellishments that catch the light beautifully.

There is something particularly beautiful about an artwork of Maa being created slowly by hand. Layer by layer, detail by detail, traditional artistry becomes something that can live in a contemporary home for years, perhaps eventually becoming part of another generation’s home too.
