A classic yacht turned into a showroom for the summer • Studio Ore know how to make hardware feel like art.

Loved hearing about their living finishes (brass that ages with you, basically) and the production process behind it all. Those darkened brass taps had me staring a little too long!!

How gorgeous is this hotel I stayed in Vietnam recently? There’s something incredibly grounding about the way raw stone, charred wood, and textured surfaces are used. Nothing feels overly polished, yet everything feels deeply considered.

I loved how the space shifts throughout the day, with soft light washing over the materials and bringing out their depth.

The bathroom, carved almost entirely from stone, felt like a quiet retreat. The bedroom had this beautiful contrast of dark, tactile wood against crisp linens. And the lounge, with its dramatic ceiling and warm glow, created such a strong sense of atmosphere.

It’s the kind of place that reminds me why materiality matters so much in design; how it can shape not just how a space looks, but how it feels.

A private dining space shaped by contrast.

Inspired by the rawness of a cold, commercial kitchen with clean lines, muted tones, and a restrained palette and softened with layers of warmth. Orchids in bloom, low ambient light, and refined table settings bring intimacy back into the room.

Above, Tom Dixon Melt pendants hover like liquid light; it is sculptural, reflective, and slightly surreal, transforming the atmosphere from clinical to captivating.

Every detail is crafted to slow the moment, elevate the experience and heighten the chef’s beautiful food presentation.

Brand is not a logo. It’s a language.

When branding, collaterals, and interiors are conceived as one continuous narrative, a space transforms into an experience. The textures echo the packaging. The patterns extend the visual identity. The characters and graphic elements move seamlessly from print to surface to spatial form.

Cohesion builds recognition, but more importantly, it builds emotion. It allows a customer to feel the brand before they consciously process it.

From packaging details to bespoke patterns, from environmental graphics to material finishes, every touchpoint should speak the same visual dialect.

Yes, interior design is also about creating beautiful spaces but it goes way beyond that.

Commercial interior design is about telling a story.
Commercial concepts start with strategy and not style.
We need to translate identity into space.
We help our clients define who they are and what they want to evoke.
It is about aligning the environment and atmosphere and reinforcing culture, building trust, and strengthening your market position.
In our studio, we treat space as a strategic business tool.
Not decoration, not just beautiful.
It is a three-dimensional expression of intent.

Not to mention that it needs to be functional, durable, suitable, etc….

My type of Disneyland! It is true that being an interior designer is way beyond aesthetics, but I won’t deny that surfaces and materiality are a passion and the most fun part of the job! Last week, we attended the , or what I call our own Disneyland. It’s always a full-on day for us, with LOTS of AMAZING new and long-loved materials and suppliers, peers/friends, fabulous talks, and so on - but we obviously have great fun and a laugh in between!
