ليلى الشوا (1940–2022) فنانة تشكيلية فلسطينية مرموقة ومن رائدات الفن المعاصر، ولدت في غزة ودرست الفنون في روما وسالزبورغ. اشتهرت بتوثيق القضايا السياسية والاجتماعية الفلسطينية وحقوق المرأة عبر أسلوب يدمج بين التعبيرية والـ "بوب آرت"، خاصة في سلسلتها الشهيرة "جدران غزة". تُعرض أعمالها في كبرى المتاحف العالمية كالمتحف البريطاني، تاركةً إرثاً فنياً خالداً يوثق الذاكرة والصمود الفلسطيني.
Laila Shawa (1940–2022) is a distinguished Palestinian visual artist and a pioneer of contemporary art. She was born in Gaza and studied art in Rome and Salzburg. Now, thanks to a box of chalk, Mr. Zinn is known around the world for the art he creates under his feet. هو بنّاء بريطاني معروف بعمله في مشاريع ترميم الكاتدرائية والتراث في المملكة المتحدة وأوروبا للحفاظ على العمارة التاريخية واستعادتها بدقة وبراعة، في عام 2017، بدأ تشارلي دراسات البناء الرسمية في كلية ويموث. انضم لاحقًا إلى برنامج التدريب المهني في يورك مينستر، حيث تدرب من عام 2019 إلى عام 2023. ساهم في مشاريع الترميم في كاتدرائية كولونيا في ألمانيا بالإضافة إلى قصر العدل في بروكسل وكاتدرائية سانتا ماريا ديل فيوري في فلورنسا.

فنان أمريكي معاصر، (مواليد لوس أنجلوس، 1978)، حصل على درجة البكالوريوس في الفنون الجميلة من كلية الفنون والتصميم في جامعة جنوب كاليفورنيا عام 2001. تشتهر أعماله بلوحات ومنحوتات تستكشف الهوية والذاكرة الأفريقية الأمريكية باستخدام مواد غير تقليدية كالشعر والشمع. عرض فينلي أعماله في العديد من المعارض الفردية والجماعية حول العالم وحصل على جوائز عديدة منها جائزة جوان ميتشل للفنانين الناشئين عام 2012.
Kohshin Finley
Contemporary American artist, (born Los Angeles, 1978), received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California School of Art and Design in 2001. His work is known for his paintings and sculptures that explore African-American identity and memory using unconventional materials such as hair and wax. Finley has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions around the world and has won numerous awards, including the Joan Mitchell Emerging Artist Award in 2012.

احتضن غاليري "آرت هاوس" بدمشق معرض "تجليات الحرف" بمشاركة سبعة فنانين تشكيليين، عرضوا 22 لوحة تحتفي بجمالية وقوة الحرف العربي التعبيرية. يُبرز المعرض، الذي يستمر حتى نهاية الشهر، تجارب حروفية معاصرة كرافد للحركة التشكيلية السورية. خصّ المعرض الفنان الراحل نذير نصر الله بثلاث لوحات مميزة، وشهد مشاركات بارزة من محمد غنّوم، أحمد إلياس، أحمد كمال، خلدون أحمد، ريم قبطان، ومحيي الدين ملك. هذه الفعاليات تؤكد أن سوريا تظل منارة للفنون والحضارات.
The Art House Gallery in Damascus hosted the “Manifestations of the Craft” exhibition, with the participation of seven visual artists, who displayed 22 paintings that celebrate the beauty and expressive power of the Arabic letter. The exhibition, which continues until the end of the month, highlights contemporary calligraphy experiments as a tributary of the Syrian plastic movement. The exhibition dedicated the late artist Nazir Nasrallah to three distinctive paintings, and witnessed prominent contributions from Muhammad Ghannoum, Ahmed Elias, Ahmed Kamal, Khaldoun Ahmed, Reem Qabtan, and Mohieddin Malak. These events confirm that Syria remains a beacon of arts and civilizations.
