And just like that… summer holidays are coming to an end. 🥹☀️

The lazy mornings, the “Mum, I’m hungry” every 27 minutes, the days that somehow felt both endless and far too short… 😂

There were adventures, mess, meltdowns, ice creams, late nights, tired parents and memories we didn’t even realise we were making. ❤️

Soon it’ll be school uniforms, packed lunches, alarm clocks and the mad morning rush again. 🎒⏰

But before we get back to the routine, let’s hold onto these last little moments of summer.
Because one day, we’ll miss the noise, the chaos and those little voices calling “Mum!” from the other room. 🥹❤️

Goodbye, summer holidays. You were exhausting… but you were beautiful. 🌸

🧶 “Why is handmade so expensive?”

Oh, you don't want to buy from Temu because you don't support exploitation?

Good for you.

But then you see a handmade crocheted cardigan and say:

“Can you make it cheaper?” 😭

Babe… 😂

That cardigan didn't magically appear overnight.

Someone bought the yarn.
Someone designed it.
Someone spent 20+ hours making it.
Someone's hands did every. single. stitch.
Someone probably restarted a whole section because one stitch was wrong. 🫠

And you want it for the price of a factory-made top?

Make it make sense. 😂

You can't be against people being underpaid…

…and then expect your local crafter to work for peanuts. 🥜

Handmade isn't expensive.

Your expectations are cheap. 😉

Support small makers.
Pay people fairly.
Wear something made with actual time, skill and love. ❤️

And if handmade isn't within your budget — that's absolutely okay.

Just don't tell the person who made it that their hours of work aren't worth much.

Some days I honestly wonder how mums manage to do it all. 😂🧶

School runs, meals, laundry, work, appointments, endless little jobs… and somewhere in between trying to remember where I put my coffee! ☕😂

Then there’s that crochet project sitting patiently in the corner, waiting for just a little bit more time. 🧶❤️

I finally get a few minutes to sit down, pick up my hook… and suddenly someone needs something. 😅

So today’s achievement? I managed to crochet a tiny bit.
Not much. Definitely not enough to finish the project. But hey… every stitch counts! 🥰

Because sometimes being a multitasking mum means celebrating the little things — even if “I nearly finished it” has been the story for the last three weeks! 😂
