Stone carries memory. Form gives it a new language.

For JIA Curated 2026, sculptor Maverick Lee .studio brings a collection of works that explore texture, balance, and the quiet beauty of material. Set within The Loom by Alexis Dornier, his sculptures exist in dialogue with the VIDAR Collection by AHTI—where architecture, craftsmanship, and nature meet.

Experience the conversation between art and design.

For architectural designer Alexis Dornier , every space begins with a narrative—one that shapes how we experience form, material, and water.

At Ahti Interiors, this philosophy resonates deeply with our approach to creating objects that elevate everyday rituals. In this conversation, Alexis shares how storytelling, materiality, and context come together to shape architecture that feels both timeless and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Stay tuned as the VIDAR Collection is unveiled at JIA Curated 2026.

Morning light. Flowing water. The simplest rituals are often the most meaningful.

Every weave begins with a single thread.

The Loom of VIDAR draws inspiration from one of humanity's oldest crafts—weaving. More than a technique, it is a symbol of connection, where individual strands come together to create something stronger and more meaningful.

At the heart of the installation, envisioned by Alexis Dornier, a handwoven bamboo canopy forms a living architecture. It filters light, invites movement, and blurs the boundary between nature and the built environment, reinterpreting the rhythm of traditional looms through a contemporary lens.

The exhibition brings together the practices of AHTI, Alexis Dornier, Maverick Lee Studio, and Utama Spice. From architectural water objects and spatial design to sculptural craft and natural wellness, each remains distinct while contributing to a shared spatial narrative.

Like threads on a loom, every material, every hand, and every discipline is woven together to celebrate craftsmanship, collaboration, and the beauty of human touch.

In Balinese tradition, rituals are woven into everyday life—a gentle reminder to slow down, reconnect, and restore balance.

Water has long been a symbol of renewal. While sacred rituals such as melukat hold deep cultural and spiritual significance, they also inspire us to create our own moments of mindfulness at home. A warm bath, a quiet pause, a deep breath—simple rituals that invite us to return to ourselves.

Sometimes, the most meaningful luxury isn't found in more. It's found in the space we create to simply be.

How do you create moments of stillness in your day?
