Making the Perfect Steak at Home - it’s not complicated, you just need to give it a little love🥩🌱🌶️

Ingredients
Steak (Ribeye or Sirloin is my go to)
50 Grams Butter
2-3 Large Garlic Cloves - (gently crushed)
Salt
Olive Oil
Chimichurri
Handful of Parsley
½ a chopped red chili
3-4 Cloves Roasted Garlic
1 tsp Red wine Vinegar
Pinch of Salt
1-2 TBSP Olive Oil

Method
Make sure your steak is at room temperature and rub olive oil and a generous pinch of salt into each side of the steak.
Add your butter to a griddle pan along with the cloves of crushed garlic and pop this on a medium high heat, you want the pan to be really hot. You want to sear the steak not boil it in the butter.
Pop the steak in the pan. I like my steak rare, so cook for one minute on either side. Once each side has been seared I then cook the steak for one more minute on either side but on this second minute continuously baste in the garlic and butter and steak juices.
To cook the rind and fat lean the steak up against the side of the pan allowing the pan to cook it, you’re wanting to sear the fat to make it crispy and flavourful.
Take the steak out the pan after 3 and a half/ 4 minutes and allow it to rest for the same amount of time (if you like your steak a little more cooked add another minute - 5 minutes for medium rare/ 6 for medium (and it continues) - allowing the steak to rest for the same time continues the cooking process.
In the meantime you can whip up a sauce, I choose a chimichurri - chop all of the ingredients up super super finely and mix them all together with the red wine and the olive oil.
Slice your steak finely and add the chimichurri on top. Serve warm and enjoy. That is how you can make the perfect steak at home !
