We always ask our clients: what have you brought home that you love?

For this project, the answer came in the form of a seashells gathered from the beaches of Malaysia, our client's home country, and carried back with great care. We placed them on windowsills around the apartment, where the light finds them at different hours of the day.

It's one of our favourite things to do in a home: hide a small moment of joy somewhere unexpected.

A little like finding an Easter egg that nobody found at the time.

Some of our favourite projects begin with a restriction.

We were not allowed to remove the dividing wall, so instead, we designed around it. A beautifully compact kitchen connects to the dining room through a considered opening, making the two spaces feel in constant conversation with each other.

The round table softens the room, encourages conviviality, and sits in perfect proportion to the space. A tall crockery cupboard keeps everything close at hand, while a recessed old chimney breast found a second life as a hidden breakfast pantry.

Constraints, we've learned, are just creativity in disguise.

The dining room at our Little Venice project.

We’ve always loved round tables because they naturally draw people together, encouraging easy conversation while leaving generous space at the centre for shared dishes and relaxed, convivial moments.

Here, a serene colour palette is complemented by warm, dark woods on the dining table and chairs to ground the space with quiet elegance.
To the left, a concealed breakfast pantry keeps everything effortlessly functional, while a soft opening connects through to the kitchen beyond.

A relaxed sheer Roman blind filters the light beautifully — offering privacy without ever compromising that gentle, luminous atmosphere. A French door opens onto to a lovely terrace overlooking communal gardens.

The hallway in our Little Venice project.

Guided by our client’s appreciation of Parisian apartments, we composed a space where classicism meets warm modernity, introducing elegant panelling and reinstating delicate plaster mouldings with refined architectural detailing. Walls in a hushed palette of soft lime, chalky whites, and nuanced greige tones create a sense of stillness and light, like morning in a Haussmann apartment.

Against this calm backdrop, the deep, burnished wood of the dining table and chairs infuse it with warmth, intimacy, and an invitation to gather.
