🍛 Chicken Biryani Pulao (2 Glass Rice Recipe)

🧾 Ingredients
• 2 glasses rice (basmati preferred)
• 1 whole chicken (cut into pieces)
• 1 large onion (sliced)
• 1½ cups oil
• 2 tomatoes (chopped)
• 3 green chilies
• 2 small pieces ginger
• 4 tablespoons yogurt
• 1 packet biryani masala
• Fresh mint leaves
• Fresh coriander leaves
• Salt (if needed

🔪 Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Fry the Onion
• Heat oil in a pot.
• Add sliced onion and fry until golden brown.

2. Cook the Chicken
• Add chicken pieces.
• Fry for 5–7 minutes until slightly browned.

3. Add Base Ingredients
• Add:
• Tomatoes
• Green chilies
• Ginger paste
• Cook until tomatoes soften and oil starts separating.

4. Add Yogurt & Masala
• Add yogurt and mix well.
• Add biryani masala.
• Cook until the gravy (qorma) thickens and oil separates.

5. Add Fresh Herbs
• Add mint leaves and coriander leaves.
• Let it simmer for a few minutes.

🍚 Prepare Rice
• Boil rice separately with salt.
• Cook until 60% done (slightly firm, not fully soft).
• Drain the rice.

🍲 Layering & Dum
• When qorma is ready:
• Add the partially cooked rice on top.
• Cover tightly.
• Cook on low heat (dum) for 20 minutes.

🍽️ Final Step
• Gently mix before serving.
• Serve hot and enjoy your homemade biryani pulao 😋
