Welcome to November, the month of remembrance. I can’t help but see the irony.
I am seeing people wear poppies to honour the fallen, to remember the lives lost in war and to say "never again" yet these same people have stayed silent for the past 2 years whilst thousands of innocent have fallen.
And yet those same poppies, (which by the way, is the national flower of Palestine) are today growing where children, families, and entire generations are being buried under bombs.
How can you wear a symbol of remembrance while staying silent about Gaza?
How can we mourn the dead of past wars and ignore the dying of today's genocides?
If remembrance really means anything, it must surely mean seeing all humanity as worthy of mourning.
Otherwise, it’s not remembrance. It’s just selective memory and that’s not peace. That’s hypocrisy and double standards!

Thank you to each and every one of you who came out to support us today at the Forest Gate Jumble trail. We are so grateful to everyone for their support and kind words today. Our families in Gaza are heavily reliant on our support and donations. These are lifesaving! We must continue to share their stories and donations links. They are literally living day to day and need constant assistance.
They have not given up so we can not either! To resist is to exist!

Busy Making Eid orders and was reflecting.......

Eid al-Adha which commemorates the story of our beloved Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his unwavering faith in God. It symbolises submission, selflessness, and the readiness to make personal sacrifices for God alone.

However, this act of devotion is seen in the everyday struggles of our Palestinian mothers, fathers & children.
Just as Qurbani reflects the willingness to endure for the sake of faith. Palestinians continuously persevere through immense adversity. And yet their faith is as strong as ever. 💗

This sacrificial act reminds us muslims of the importance of sharing & supporting those in need, echoing the call to stand in solidarity with the oppressed in Palestine.

Just like Eid is a time of happiness & gratitude,
the Palestinian fight for freedom symbolises resilience and the hope for freedom & peace despite years of suffering.

So this year, while we engage in our qurbani's let us reaffirm our commitments to the Muslim Ummah and reflect on how we can extend the values of Eid beyond our immediate circles and contribute to alleviating the suffering of others.

Do not buy boycott drinks for your Eid Parties.
Do not waste large amounts of food.
Donate as much as you can to our brothers & sisters in need.
Make sincere dua for them during salat ul Eid.
Sit with your children and talk to them about Palestine and educate them on what the Nakba is so they too can grow up to be on the right side of history. ❤️🖤🤍💚

Our new summer Libby cups.
These are perfect for kids as they are made from plastic and not glass so great for tiny hands.

I stayed up last night thinking about all the innocent Palestinian children murdered and all the mothers loosing the will to live but still carrying on strong as ever with so much resilience. I can't imagine how much psychological trauma they must be going through.

What has the world come to, when we can see children being blown apart, limbless under a mounting of rubble and the world keeps moving like its normal. Complete disregard to all of it.

For once, I understood the meaning of 'the devil within'.
And all I could think of was now I know why God created hell.
